Back in 2013, I landed my very first job as an interior designer for an architecture and design studio in Pune, India. Then I took the responsibility as the Design Lead at a hospitality design and furniture manufacturing company.
Both these roles offered me multiple compelling and challenging hands-on experiences in the field, which have deeply influenced my solution-focused design process.
I studied Design Management in Munich, Germany, and wrote my master thesis explaining a design-thinking approach to facilitate unbiased and ethical decision-making within inclusive design teams.
As a creative who values responsible design, experience design and research have enabled me to focus on the user and beyond to engage with the ethical dimensions of a design system that can then help us designers create more inclusive and moral outcomes.
I'm an urban sketcher and watercolour painter, a hobby that has wonderfully transformed the way I experience places when I travel. In my leisure time I'm usually reading, crocheting, hiking, pet-sitting, playing board games with my partner, or laughing through podcasts.
